The General Director of the ODS welcomed, on Thursday,
May 27th, 2021 at the Office Headquarters, His Excellency the
Ambassador of South Africa Mr. Siphosezwe MASANGO accompanied by the
communication officer, first and third
secretary of the South African embassy in Tunisia.
The meeting was an opportunity to go back over the
discussions, started in 2019 between the Eastern Cape region of South Africa
and the South East region of Tunisia (Governorates of Gabès and Medenine) for
the establishment of a twinning program.
The ODS staff had presented the southern region
(infrastructure, wealth and investment niches).
By the end, both sides had expressed their commitment
to activate the process and make the necessary exchanges to prepare the
memorandum of understanding between the ODS and the ECDC (Eastern Cape Development
Corporation).
The meeting was attended by Mr. Azeddine Bouajaja,
General Manager of the South East Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the
Central Directors at the ODS.
