Presentation and discussion of the development situation in the South region for the members of the regional development committee at the Assembly of People's Representatives

On Friday, June 19, 2020, the Regional Development Committee of the People's Assembly held a hearing with the general director of the Southern Development office and the regional development directors in two sessions:

the morning was devoted to present the development situation of the South and the governorates of Gafsa, Tozeur and Kébili,
The afternoon session was devoted to present the development situation in the governorates of Gabès, Medenine and Tataouine.

This meeting was devoted to examining and monitoring the progress of the implementation of development projects in the southern governorates and to identifying the difficulties which impede the implementation of a number of programs and development projects at regional level, in addition to the recommendations presented by the regional parties, the proposed measures, procedures and solutions that would help to overcome difficulties and stimulate the completion of projects and improve development reality in these governorates.
